Central Kansas Gun Club hosts 3-Gun Matches all year round, but only weather-permitting for the winter months of November through February. For the winter months, we only shoot on days that the weather is forecast to get above 40 F. For winter matches, the current Match Director, Manuel "M-C" Camacho will be posting a couple of days in advance if the match is still on. Those postings can be found at MC Sporting Arms, and also at Kansas Concealed Carry. For more information, please feel free to contact the Committee Chairman listed below.
All shooters are expected to help during a match - pasting targets, resetting steel, policing brass and tear-down after a match. Your early appearance to help with setup is greatly appreciated!
The course of fire will involve multiple weapons. Shooting distances will vary from 2 feet to 200 yards. You will engage a variety of steel targets and cardboard silhouettes. Expect the following round counts for each match:
30-40 Bird Shoot
PLEASE NOTE: Potable water is not available at the range. Outhouses are provided.
